We are a friendly church. Join us for service every Sunday at 11:00 am or online on YouTube. The YouTube channel is here.
Who we are
Markham Chinese Alliance Church was established in 1991 by Cantonese speaking immigrants from Hong Kong. The English Ministry are mostly the children of the Chinese ministry or second-generation believers. We long to be Christ-followers who impact our community of Markham. We desire to be more than an ethnic church but a multicultural and intergenerational community with a heart for serving others and encounter God in worship.
We welcome anyone regardless of race or creed or ability to join us in worshipping our one true Lord Jesus Christ.
Everyone is invited to join us on Sunday morning at 11:00 am for praise and worship, scripture reading and a sermon that reflects on the scripture passage. There is no dress policy but are free to come to God with an open heart. We ask that you clothing would not distract others from worshipping God.
MCAC is involved with over 11 outreaches. In our church we have various ministries for students, children, young adults and for men and women ministries. We also meet regularly for prayer every Wednesday evenings. We also offer a term based Adult Sunday school that includes baptism and membership classes.
In our church, we are looking for volunteers. However, if you wish to serve youth and children we do ask that you have an up-to-date enhanced vulnerable sector police check and attend regular mandatory training.
“God loves a cheerful giver” 2 Cor 9:6-7
There are two ways you can give. We are accepting e-transfers to offering@mcac-cma.com. You can also place your offerings in the offering box in the back of the sanctuary.
We have opportunities to serve in several teams: Musical Worship Team, Welcome Team, and A/V Team. If you are interested in knowing more or joining, please contact Cynthia Kam (emc@mcac-cma.com) for more details!
Partnering up with Toronto Alliance Church (TAC), the Sandwich Run Ministry supports TAC's Community Night. Together, we cook food, serve dinner, help out at the food & clothing bank, and assist in running a worship service for the attendees of the Community Night. We are always looking for volunteers to serve. Please contact Pastor Lucinda (lucinda.tam@mcac-cma.com) for more details!
